Project Description
We installed Highland impact resistant slate in Gallardia in far northwest Oklahoma City. Later we finished with copper trim from OKC Copper Works.
We used CertainTeed’s Highland Slate shingles which are a premium roofing option designed to mimic the look of natural slate. With an authentic texture and depth, these shingles add elegance and sophistication to any home. They come in a variety of colors, and their multi-layer design provides superior protection against the elements.
Highland Slate shingles are excellent for slate application and are engineered with Class A fire resistance rating, according to Underwriters Laboratories, making them a top choice for homeowners who prioritize fire safety. These shingles are also resistant to algae and impact, thanks to StreakFighter® algae resistance and the shingles’ heavy weight.
